Shape YOUR Future Workforce

As a business leader, you are committed to shaping your future workforce. The ENGAGING YOUTH Program strives to meet your workforce needs by taking an innovative approach to preparing young people for the real world of work. The program combines job readiness training and internships at local businesses.

How It Works
JOB READINESS BOOT CAMP: Young adults, ages 17 to 24, undergo a full-day job readiness boot camp which covers professional conduct expectations for successful employment, as well as other work readiness skills.

INTERNSHIP: After the participants have completed the boot camp, they are placed with a participating business for a 16-hour internship that takes place over a three-week period. At the end of the internship, all the interns and participating businesses will come together for a two-hour wrap-up session to share their experiences and provide valuable feedback about the program.

COST: Sponsoring businesses will underwrite $175 per intern (which includes all payroll related costs and no paperwork for you).

How to Take Part
ENGAGING YOUTH Program sessions are ongoing; however, spaces are at a premium, so act quickly to take part. download a flyer
